TROPICAL STORM BARBARA FORMS IN THE EASTERN PACIFIC

A new tropical storm has developed strength in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The system, now known as Tropical Storm Barbara, is at this moment located about 250 miles southeast of the coast of Baja California. Meteorologists are expecting that Barbara will intensify over the next few days. The storm is traveling westward at a rate of 15 mph.
